We offer a wide range of handmade products. Our products go through our high standard quality control to ensure client satisfaction.
REDIRA was founded in March 1998, thanks to a few farmers. They approached Myrna Malan to do design work on their workwear.
REDIRA started with three workers in a double garage at the Augrabies site in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. Since 1998 REDIRA grew to a staff complement of 24 full time employed people. Today REDIRA can boast a double-storey factory that has been in operation since 2003.
In 2010, REDIRA expanded by opening a store in Kakamas. Redira is now stocking the complete ranges of JONSSON overalls, clothing, water boots and shoes. We also have a wide range of JEEP clothing with MERRELL, CAT and SALOMON shoes for the fashion conscious.
REDIRA serves the community and farmers in the area by providing overalls and protective clothing. Our products meet customer requirements, and we stay updated with change in requirements. We can provide you with all your workwear necessities throughout the year. From crop preparation to post-harvest, we can wash and repair your workwear, overalls and gear for you.
In 2013, REDIRA’s third branch opened in Upington at 11c Schroder Street to serve existing and new customers. In November 2013, the store became too small, and we moved to the corner of Scott and Park streets. In April 2016, the store also became too small, and we moved to 44 Scott Street.
REDIRA is the proud supplier of school uniforms and sportswear in the region.
Our school uniforms and sportswear includes the Fanie Malan Preparatory School, Primary School Op Die Voorpos, Oranje Noord and Upington High School.
